M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Board Schedules 2024 Budget Forums


LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Planning Board of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) will hold its 2024 Budget Forums this fall, to solicit comments on the M-NCPPC budget for planning, parks, and recreation in Prince George’s County for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2025. 

 
The public budget forums will be held: 

Wednesday, September 25, 2024 – 7 p.m. (Registration is now closed for this session.)

In-Person Budget Forum

M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County

Administration Building, 6600 Kenilworth Avenue, Riverdale, MD 20737

Advance Registration Deadline: 12:00 Noon | Tuesday, September 24, 2024

Onsite registration will be available at the in-person forum.

Wednesday, October 2, 2024 – 7 p.m.

Virtual Budget Forum

Registration Deadline: 12:00 Noon | Tuesday, October 1, 2024

The virtual forum can be viewed via live streaming service and a video recording will be available for review after the hearing at https://www.pgplanningboard.org. Public participation for the virtual forum is encouraged either through a phone bridge or by using GoTo Meeting (online video meeting software). Everyone who wishes to speak at the virtual forum MUST REGISTER ONLINE by noon, the day before the forum. Following the registration submission, an email will be sent with the GoTo Meeting information by 3:00 p.m. the day before the forum, including the phone number and a web address to connect to the meeting.

Written comments will also be accepted until close of business, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, by mail, fax, or email. Comments may be addressed to Peter A. Comments may also be faxed to Chair Shapiro at 301-952-5074 or transmitted via email to PublicAffairs@ppd.mncppc.org.
