Research and Collections

M-NCPPC Archaeologists have collaborated with the descendants of enslaved African Americans to gain a better understanding of people who lived on the plantation and farm. The archaeological collections from Northampton, along with some of the historical records, are housed in the Archaeology Program Office. For further questions about research and collections, contact the Archaeology Program Office at 301-627-1286 or Maryland Relay 7-1-1 for customers who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability.
