"Goode" Inventions, Good Intentions (Ages 6-11)
Invent something ingenious to make life easier for yourself, your family, or your neighbors! Students will hear a story about Sarah Goode, use their imaginations to come up with solutions to everyday problems, start an inventions journal, and go on a scavenger hunt for inventions that made life easier in the 1700s, when Montpelier was built!

Hands-On History Tour (Grades K-12)
On these tours, students engage in several hands-on activities to learn about life for all Marylanders in 17th and 18th century Maryland. Activities will be appropriate for grade level.
