Potomac River Waterfront Unit

The Potomac River Waterfront Unit consists of a squad of specially trained officers responsible for policing the Potomac River Waterfront Park and the three-mile Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail, which begins at Oxon Hill Road, crosses over the Potomac River, and ends in the city of Alexandria, VA. The Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail is a heavily-used pedestrian commuter route into Prince George's County. It is a popular location for run/walk events ranging from local non-profit 5k road races to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon.
